Prof. LI Shenglan’s Project is Funded by the Emergency Management Project of Natural Science Foundation of China
In January, the second Emergency Management Project of Natural Science Foundation of China - “Construction and Management of Hainan Free Trade Port” in 2020 published the reviewing result. Professor LI Shenglan’s research project “Coordinated Development of Ecological Environment and Economy in Hainan Free Trade Port” was successfully selected by the Natural Science Foundation of China. Only 9 projects delivered from universities across the whole nation received funding in which Sun Yat-sen University has 4, Hainan University has 3, and University of International Business and Economics has 1.
The Hainan Free Trade Port is a national crucial strategy measure, which is planned, deployed, and promoted by President XI Jinping. On June 1st 2020, he emphasized the priority and significance of the Free Trade Port, and required to construct the port with fine quality and high standard during a speech.
