Alumni with “5-year span” return to the school

In order to welcome alumni to return to the school, relive the wonderful campus life in the past, experience the changes of Lingnan College and exchange their thoughts on life, the Alumni Association of Lingnan (University) College calls on and assists alumni with “5-year span” to return to the school to organize annual activities. “Alumni with 5-year span” refer to five years, ten years, fifteen years, twenty years, thirty years of enrollment or after graduation. This is a traditional event to promote the alumni culture .

Alumni mentor programme

The Alumni Mentor Programme of Lingnan College is designed to facilitate the communication between Lingnan alumni and undergraduate / graduate students, and to achieve the sharing and transmission of information, knowledge, resources and experience. It is meant to help students in their morality, learning and career development. It can also help alumni mentors to add value in three aspects, namely, talent acquisition, knowledge transference, and emotion communication.

Alumni interviews

"Children with the Red and Grey Sprit are affectionate with Lingnan"!  The development and progress of the college are inseparable from the concern, care and support from the alumni. Every year, the alumni association organizes students to interview alumni to record the steps of the life and the career of Lingnan alumni, and the bits and pieces they’ve dedicated in the work of the alumni affairs. Through the form of alumni interviews, Lingnan can share the these stories with other alumni and students, so that the spirit of Lingnan will be handed down!

The Lingnan Couple Certificate for alumni

In December 2014, the Alumni Association of the Lingnan (University) College of Sun Yat-sen University produced a couple certificate signed by Wu Zhande and Li Yuzhen. Both the husband and the wife must be Lingnan alumni to apply for this special certificate.
