Prof. ZHAN Chaoqun Received T.K.Ann International Trade Award

The paper “Trade Liberalization and Domestic Vertical Integration: Evidence from China” that was jointly published by Prof. ZHAN Chaoqun (Lingnan College), Prof. LIU Qing (Renmin University of China), and Prof. QIU Dongxiao (Lingnan University) won the second prize of The 21st T.K.Ann International Trade Award. The first prize was vacant.

 

The paper was also published on Journal of International Economics in November, 2019.

 

T.K.Ann International Trade Award was established in 1991 by deceased Mr. Ann Zijie, who was the Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, a Hong Kong industrialist, and a distinguished academic. The primary reason for the establishment of such an award is to cultivate more elites for international trade, and thus to accelerate the development of China's foreign economics and trade.

 

Nowadays, the T.K.Ann International Trade Award is widely recognized with a great reputation in international trade research area across the country, and it is regarded as the highest academic award in this field.
