Faculty Overview

To build a first-class faculty team excellent both in teaching and research is the primary pursuit of Lingnan. Since its establishment, the College has attracted a group of prestigious professors to conduct teaching and research at Lingnan. By the end of the 2018-2019 academic year (i.e., August 2019), Lingnan has 101 full-time (core) faculty members.

The College attaches great importance to the further development of faculty and sponsors its faculty members to go abroad for faculty exchange as visiting scholars or attending international conference. At present, more than 50 faculty members have been visiting scholars to MIT, USA. Furthermore, the College also invites a number of prestigious visiting scholars, professors from leading international business schools such as MIT, University of Minnesota, University of California, Berkeley in USA, University of Manchester in UK, University of Jean Moulin Lyon 3 in France, as well as foreign government officials, famous economists and business leaders to conduct teachings, seminars, and lectures at Lingnan.
