College Management's Cloud Meeting with Students

During the period of epidemic prevention and control, it's critical to prevent transmission from abroad, and rebound at home. Lingnan College actively adjusted its working methods in a timely fashion, and moved the traditional dean and party secretary's meeting with students to the network platform.

On April 28, the first meeting between the dean of Lingnan College, the party secretary and the students was held. Professor Lu Jun, dean of Lingnan, Chen Xianfeng, the party secretary, Huang Tao, deputy party secretary, associate professor Liu Yanchu, assistant dean, and party counselors Liu Xiangchun and Shen Rui, connected online and communicated with 10 student representatives from all grades, including student representatives in Hubei.

At the meeting, the students took turns to introduce the prevention and control of the epidemic in their hometown, the current situation of their home study, and what they saw and heard.

On behalf of the college, Dean Lu Jun extended his concern and greetings to the students, introduced the current situation of the epidemic prevention and control in the school and the college, and the deployment of the college 's current network teaching. Dean Lu encouraged everyone to adjust their mentality, strive to cultivate their learning ability, learn to study on their own, learn to adapt, and learn to grow. Dean Lu hoped that students would maintain communication with their teachers and fellow classmates, and call immediately to the college for help, should there be difficulties. The management of the college also gave detailed answers to questions that students concerned about, such as the arrangement of online lectures, the schedule to return to school, job placement and further studies.
