Abstract:

This lecture focuses on the market valuation of green products, using green trademark data to identify corporate innovation in green products, and explores the logic underlying the stock market's valuation of companies' green commercialisation activities. The research finds that capital markets gradually incorporate the value information inherent in the commercialisation of green products; however, when green product activities signify a substantive green transition for a company, or when such activities are difficult to value, the phenomenon of an inadequate market response becomes more pronounced.
