Top International Publication! The paper of Dr. Xinlu Yao, 08 economics undergraduate of Lingnan college, is officially accepted by The American Economic Review

Recently, the paper titled Dynamic Price Competition, Learning-by-doing and Strategic Buyers by Dr. Xinlu Yao, 2008 Economics undergraduate alumnus of Lingnan College, Sun Yat-sen University, and her collaborators, has been officially accepted by American Economic Review, a leading international journal of economics, and is to be published soon. This paper, co-authored by Dr. Xinlu Yao and Prof. Andrew Sweeting of the University of Maryland, Prof. JIA Dun of Peking University HSBC Business School, and Prof. Hui-shen of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), explores the dynamic pricing competition and market concentration of enterprises.

Dr. Xinlu Yao received her Bachelor's degree from Lingnan College, Sun Yat-sen University. She pursued her master's degree from Hanqing Research Institute from 2012 to 2015 and received her doctorate degree in Economics from University of Maryland in 2021.

The American Economic Review (AER) was established in 1911 and published by The American Economic Association. The journal is the most important and influential journal in the economics profession in the United States, and is recognized as one of the most prestigious academic journals in the world. Some of the authors of the articles are Nobel Prize winners in economics.
