- Summer Internship Program at Lingnan College is arrange in July and August, which normally contains 8 weeks in total. In order to avoid conflict against academics, any internship beyond summer and winter vacations is prohibited.
- The recruiting season for Summer Internship Program starts from the first working day in November of earlier year. We welcome all employers to campus for campus recruitment, on-campus interviews and job postings. Other activities to interact with students are encouraged as well.
- Students available for Summer Internship Program consist of 300 junior students from undergraduate programs, 150 1st-year master students, 30 1st-year fulltime MBA students, as well as some Ph. D students.
- In order to facilitate smooth campus recruitment, Lingnan College provides free venues for campus interviews. It is recommended that the first-round interview be held on campus.
- In both autumn and spring semesters, students have classes in the daytime on weekdays. Please contact students by email or text message, or make phone calls at noon time.
- It is recommended that the companies design meaningful summer internship programs for students, with dedicated staff or mentors.
- It is suggested that the employers who provide summer internship opportunities adopt open mind and fair method to select qualified candidates, without discrimination against gender, height or appearance etc.
- It is also advised that a week of time be given to students to consider the summer offer, ensuring them have ample time to make conscious decision.
- Finally, it is hoped that employers could provide equivalent subsidies or allowances for summer interns and make sure that all the interns are properly insured during the summer.
