Lin Jiang is a professor, doctoral tutor of Lingnan College in Sun Yat-sen University. He is the Associate Dean of the Rsearch Institute for FTZ of the University and also the deputy director of Hong Kong, Macao and the Pearl River Delta Research Center of the University. He had been a professor of Finance department in Lingnan College, director of Hong Kong and Macao Research Institute of Sun Yat-sen University, deputy director of Hong Kong and Macao Research Center. He had been seconded from Sun Yat-sen University to Hong Kong, China Merchants Group and served as a research fellow and deputy general manager of the financial center, vice president of Financial Division, the executive director of the group's listed companies, banks and insurance companies, and deputy director of Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association Consulting Services. He is also in adjunct of director of China Finance Society, National Taiwan Research Association, part-time researcher of Cross-Strait Relations Research Center, Steering Committe member, Public Finance Major of the Universities and Colleges under the Ministry of Education, vice president of the Institute of Public Finance of Guangdong Province, vice president of International Taxation Research Association of Guangdong Province, advisor to the Guangdong Government Procurement Association, member of Guangzhou city Financial Advisory Expert Committee, and expert of budget review in Guangzhou Municipal People's Congress Budgetary Committee.
Lin Jiang has many years of research experience in fields such as financial theory and policy, regional economy and finance, and venture capital. Dozens of articles in these fields have been published on domestic leading academic journals, including Public Finance Research, Taxation Research, World Economy, Finance and Trade Economics, Academic Research, International Finance Research. He has also published "Finance", "Taxation", "Hong Kong Dollar Stability Mechanism Research", "Venture Capital" and other academic monographs and textbooks. LIN Jiang was committed to undertake a series of research projects, including those from the National Social Sciences Foundation, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture, Guangdong Municipal Government and the local government and business firms. In recent years, Lin Jiang was invited to visit the United States, Italy, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao and other countries and regions on academic purpose, including giving lectures and participating in academic conferences.
Lin Jiang is committed to provide researching and consulting services to the government and enterprises. He serves as consultants and guest researcher of several local governments, director, independent director and consultant of several companies. He has won the "2010 annual top ten economic personalities in Dongguan "title.
Lin Jiang is often invited by mainstream media to give interviews and express his opinions on issues such as China's fiscal and tax reform, regional economic and financial development, industrial upgrading and enterprise restructuring. These medias include: CCTV, Phoenix TV, TVB, ATV, MASTV, GDTV, GZTV, Radio Guangdong, Guangzhou Radio, Xinhua News Agency, China News Agency, the Nanfang Daily, Yangcheng Evening News, Guangzhou Daily, Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao, the United States New York Times, the British Financial Times, Japan Economic News, Globe and Mail, Canada, etc.
