Liu Jianhua (born in July 1980, Yushan, Jiangxi, China), a professor of  the Department of Finance and a assistant dean of Lingnan (University) College, Sun Yat-Sen University, is responsible for the teaching and research of capital market-based accounting and finance, corporate governance, and investor protection. He has published two books and a number of papers in some influential academic journals such as Management World, Journal of Financial Research, Accounting Research, China Accounting Review, and Quarterly Journal of Finance. And he is in charge of several national or provincial research projects sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, etc. What’s more, he has won several awards granted by the Ministry of Education and Guangdong Province for his seminal academic achievements.
