Lingnan Promotes Graduate Recruitment for 2017

This past May, Lingnan initiated a nationwide graduate recruitment publicity program. The publicity team was composed of 54 people including college leaders, graduate tutors, faculty and graduate representatives. The team visited top universities across 16 cities in total.

 

Lingnan faculty promoted the academics at Lingnan, its recruiting policy, career development opportunities, etc. Lingnan graduate representatives also shared their experiences from studying and living at Lingnan. The M.S. in International Management and Insurance Master’s Programs received widespread attention among the students. With face-to-face interaction and on-site consultation, the audience gained a deeper understanding of Lingnan (University) College and its graduate education.

Relevant departments at Lingnan did comprehensive preparation for the promotion, and a Wechat online booking platform was set up in advance. The news attracted about 1000 students, and Lingnan received over 2000 applicants for its graduate summer camp.

 

On June 3rd, a sharing session was held at Lingnan. Individual teams respectively reported on the latest developments from their recruitment efforts at targeted universities and made suggestions for improvement. It has been three years since Lingnan first carried out a publicity campaign. Learning from past experience, Lingnan will continue to make progress in better carrying out publicity campaigns in order to expand its influence and attract more excellent students.
