Lingnan (University) College started the reformation of undergraduate education since 2012 by actively carrying out morality and liberal arts education. A series of reform measures were successfully introduced, aiming to develop a holistic personality, innovative spirit, practical ability and a sense of social responsibility of students. Undergraduate teaching quality assurance system is a characteristic in the reformation. Other than the internal teaching quality monitoring, the school also established an external examiner system, inviting academics from other institutions to provide overall evaluations and suggestions for course teaching improvements. The Whole Person educational system has played a good demonstration role in national economics and management undergraduate education. Lingnan’s undergraduate education has been in the lead among all the schools in Sun Yat-sen University.
