Social Responsibility & Charity: Lingnan MBA Alumni Association donates COVID supplies worth a million Yuan to Thailand

On May 11, Professor WU Jintao, the Assistant Dean and MBA Director of Lingnan (University) College; Mr. GUAN Shouyin, the Chief Officer of Lignnan MBA Alumni Association; Mr. ZHU Kaitao, the Secretary of Lignnan MBA Alumni Association; Mr. YU Qiaofeng, alumnus of Class 13; and Mr. SU Pingjing, alumnus of Class 18 attended the donation ceremony at Royal Thai Embassy, Guangzhou.

After learning the pandemic in Thailand, the Lingnan MBA alumni immediately decided to provide support to Thailand, with donation of 80,000 medical masks worth 1.12 million Yuan. The Lingnan MBA program has been running since 1998, attracting not only Chinese students, but also international students every year. From 2006, Lingnan MBA program started to admit students with Thai background. Over 70 Thai students have completed the MBA courses in Lingnan, and are currently making contributions in a diverse range of industries. Education for Service as the motto of Lingnan marks the unique and core value of the School and symbolizes its longstanding dedication to society.
