World-class Faculty
Being more than 70 years old, the Carlson School of Management has a wealth of experience of running MBA programs and a world-class team of management faculty. The Carlson School’s faculty was ranked 7th in terms of research productivity among all accredited business schools in the United States by the prestigious Academy of Management Journal, and its Information Systems and Production/Operations departments are ranked first in the U.S. for faculty scholarship. Lingnan College employs excellent faculty from top international institutions from around the world and attaches great importance to faculty training and development. At present, more than 50 faculty members have returned to teach at Lingnan College after studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The CHEMBA Program's first choice of faculty members is those who have achieved academic success and practical experience working as consultants for the government or for Global Fortune 500 companies. Each course of the CHEMBA Program is conducted by a joint teaching team of two members including one professor from the Carlson School of Management and another from Lingnan College or from other well-known business schools. We also have professors and doctoral students from Lingnan College participating as teaching assistants.
