Yale-China/L(U)C
In 2012, the College established a partnership with the Yale-China Association, to jointly deliver the Global Leadership Symposium Programme, a key global immersion programme for undergraduate students at Lingnan and Yale. The cooperation with Yale-China Association has allowed more than 100 undergraduates to work on the Yale-China/L(U)C Symposium on Global Strategic Leadership Programme, which has been run successfully for the past nine years at Yale University. The programme has been upgraded in recent years from a study tour to in-depth teamwork between Lingnan students and students from Yale to perform research and work out viable projects for local companies and NGOs under the theme of social responsibility. Through these programmes, students have the opportunity to broaden their horizons in the ethical engagement of different companies and NGOs, utilising what they learn to contribute to the social well-being of these companies and NGOs.
