摘要：

With the advantage of random assignment of roommates in a Chinese university, we investigate the roommate peer effect on filial behaviours. We find that the peer effect on filial piety exists among roommates, especially men, and those students from non-single-child families, from rural areas, and from regions with stronger traditional Chinese clan culture. The mechanism analyses suggest that the existence of such peer effect is likely to be caused by social pressure and even the change of preference.

报告人介绍：

       邓卫广，湖南大学经济与贸易学院副教授。本科和硕士研究生毕业于中山大学，2014年博士毕业于香港中文大学经济系。主要研究兴趣是劳动经济学、行为实验经济学、微观应用计量。目前主要从事孝文化的经济学研究、同群效应研究、人力资本研究。近年在Journal of Population Economics、China Economic Review，《经济研究》、《经济学》季刊、《经济科学》、《劳动经济研究》等SSCI和CSSCI 权威期刊发表数篇学术论文。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项，省部级及校级科研项目多项。主持大型微观数据调查“中国大学生追踪调查”，主持多项田野实验调查，主持一项大型网络问卷调查“中国代际关系调查”。中国劳动经济学者论坛理事会理事， 全球劳动组织（Global Labor Organization）会员（Fellow）。
