2019 Lingnan Macroeconomics Meetings Call for Papers

The 2019 Lingnan Macroeconomics Meetings, sponsored by Lingnan (University) College and China Institute of Economic Transformation and Opening, will be held on December 7-8, 2019 at Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China. This annual meetings, which have been successfully held twice in the past two years, aim to provide an opportunity to strengthen communications among researchers and policy makers and facilitate the progress of research in macroeconomics and its policy implications.

The 2019 meetings will be co-organized with the prestigious “Economic Research Journal” (《经济研究》). The topics of submissions (include but are not limited to) are as follows: economic growth, business cycle,  open economy macroeconomics, monetary policy, macroeconomic aspects of public finance, inequality and income redistribution, consumption and investment, macro finance. Submitted papers must be unpublished original research papers following the standard academic norms. Papers in English or Chinese are both welcome.

Please prepare your Chinese submissions in format requested byEconomic Research Journal (《经济研究》), and English submissions in format requested by the American Economic Review. Please use "First Author's Name + Paper Title" as the name of your submitted file. For the convenience of anonymous peer review and contact, submitted files should list the author information (including name, affiliation, address and email) on the cover page.

Through an anonymous reviewing process, a scientific committee will select qualified outstanding papers to enter the anonymous reviewing process at Economic Research Journal (《经济研究》).

Expenses：The meetings will not charge any registration fee. The organizer will cover the accommodation expenditures for the presenter (one presenter for each selected paper). Transportation and potential visa application fees are at the presenters’ expenses.
