Description

In a global world, managers are frequently called upon to work with global teams, whether virtually or in-person. A central element of successful work relationships is trust, both its placement in others and in getting colleagues to trust you. However, the nature of trust, its creation and its maintenance, varies widely across national cultures. In this talk, Professor Aks Zaheer will present some of his work on understanding how national trust cultures differ, why it matters and how to deal with trust differences across borders.
