Curriculum: CHMB5810 International Business Environment

CHEMBA Course

今年IBE(International Business Environment)课程被安排在工作日晚上,尽管大家白天都有工作要忙,但仍能准时参加晚上的线上课,精神感人。

CHEMBA Sharing
The IBE course starts at 6:00am in US time zone. Prof. Svjetlana Madzar always joined ZOOM meeting 15minutes in advance to get well prepared, I am very impressed with her professional image and nicely smile.
Throughout the course, Professor have shared to us with many typical examples of multinational enterprises and also provided us with many group discussion opportunities. In my own working perspective, the international business environment is a very important factor and I’ve learned a lot throughout these cases, such as “Mindray”, “HC knows best”, “draw our O-chart” etc.
Moreover, I would like to share the following three quotes from the case “interview with Sam Hsu” which I was encouraged. “Be clear of your motivation and focus on your purpose.” “Build the share creation value.” “Always learning.”

“I have truly enjoyed our time together and have learned a great deal from you from Assignment 1, as well as your valuable comments. Thank you especially to those of you who shared your rich experience and enabled a wonderful learning experience for your classmates.
In spite of the current bleak situation regarding Covid 19, I am still hoping to see you all here in Minneapolis before too long.
Sincere regards to all of you and best wishes for 2022 and Chinese Lunar year! I leave you with a picture taken a few years ago on a sunny January day (no need to give you the location :-)).”
