【学生感想】
转眼我从CHEMBA毕业已经三年了。从2016年10月在中大开学，到2018年的5月在明大毕业，每个在广州学习的周末，仿佛仍历历在目，而学习的旅程仿佛也一直在继续。
In a blink of an eye, it has been three years since I graduated from CHEMBA. From the opening ceremony in SYSU in October 2016 to the commencement in UMN in May 2018, the memory of studying in Guangzhou every weekend is still vivid, and the journey of learning seems to continue.
CHEMBA作为唯一一个在华南地区中美联合办学全英文授课的EMBA课程，在选择EMBA的项目时应该是在外企工作的同学和英语专业的首选吧。但一开课，还是相当的不适应，几百页的原版教材，7，8个案例，感觉还没找到节奏，迷迷糊糊中第一周的课就结束了。还好到了第二周，大家彼此熟悉了，印度奶奶更是用她的热情和智慧不断的点燃大家，大家开始热烈的争论，投入的分析，课程开始进入正常的轨道，而两年的学习历程就这样缓缓展开了。
CHEMBA is the only English-taught EMBA program in South China that is jointly run by a Chinese and an American university. So, it should be the first choice for those who work in foreign companies and majoring in English when choosing an EMBA program. However, we found it more difficult than we think at the very first class. The original textbook in English and quite a few cases to study made me feel hard to catch up. I finished my first week’s class in a daze. Fortunately, in the second week, everyone became familiar with each other, and the instructor used her enthusiasm and wisdom keep inspiring everyone. We began to engage ourselves in lively debating and concentrated analyzing. Finally, we got the pace, and the two-year learning process was rolling out in front of us bit by bit.
CHEMBA项目特别值得推崇的就是科目的设计和老师的选择，有贯穿整个项目的逐层推进的财务课，Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Financial Management及Advanced Financial Management高级财务管理；市场相关的Marketing Management, Business Strategy和Strategic Marketing, 其他的课程也囊括了所有公司运营管理的方方面面，如OB，OM，HR，Law，ITM等等。
The thing I appreciated most of the CHEMBA program is the design of curriculum and the selection of high-quality instructors. There are financial courses of all level throughout the entire project, from Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Financial Management to Advanced Financial Management. There are marketing-related courses, such as Marketing Management, Business Strategy and Strategic Marketing. Other courses cover different aspects of company operation and management, such as Organization Behavior, Operation Management, Human Resource Management, Law, Information Technology Management.
同时，我感受到了各位名师的风采。如汇集了”Hey, guys, Very simple”的Tony Shieh老师，每天课程结束后一个会计自嘲小笑话的顾教授，“表爷”Timothy Nantell教授和雷厉风行部队作风的Helen Moser老师的财务天团；代表老中青中西合璧，汇集崔教授、Bodo教授和Aks教授的Marketing男神教授团；有只要提要求就能做调查找出规律的统计大拿王燕鸣教授；学识渊博，触类旁通的夏卫东教授；真相永远不止一个的王传辉老师；能感受到在亚马逊森林的蝴蝶扇动了翅膀的林江教授；课堂上充满热情，拥有不可置疑的眼神的OB印度老奶奶等等。他们严谨的治学、广阔的视角、深邃的洞察、辩证的思考，无不让我们受益匪浅，成为我们学习成长路上的明灯。
I feel lucky to meet instructors with different characteristic. We have Tony Shieh with his catch phrase: "Hey, guys, Very simple"; Professor Gu with great humor; Professor Timothy Nantell and Professor Helen Moser with rigorous attitude to our financial statements; Professor Cui, Professor Bodo and Professor Aks with marketing wisdom from the East to the West, and of different times; Professor Wang Yanming, a statistics expert; Professor Xia Weidong, who is knowledgeable and understandable; Professor Wang Chuanhui, who taught us there may be more than one truth; Professor Lin Jiang, who has sense to changes even incurred by very small incidents; and the enthusiastic OB instructor, who was a kind Indian granny with unquestionable eyes among all the excellent instructors. Their rigorous attitude, broad perspective, deep insight and critical thinking impress us all a lot and become a beacon of our learning and growth.
CHEMABA16作为40多人的一个大班也是藏龙卧虎，既有白手起家的创业者；上市公司的高管也有外企的白领，职业有涵盖了从财务，研发，市场，销售，供应链和生产各个职能部门。每一位同学都有对管理独特的视角和理解，而这也帮助我们更好的在学习讨论中火花四溅，互相激发，帮助我们对所学的知识有了更全面，更深刻的认识。
As a large group of more than 40 people, CHEMABA16 is also home to all kinds of talents. There are entrepreneurs who started from scratch, executives of listed companies and white-collar workers of foreign companies. They cover various functional departments like finance, research and development, marketing, sales, supply chain and production. Each classmate has a unique perspective and understanding of management. This also helps us to better spark in studies and discussions, stimulate ideas from each other, and help us have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the knowledge we have learned.
而最后的VTP项目，更可称得上是皇冠上的明珠，把我们放在了一个真实的商业环境里，进行跨国的项目的合作。同不同时区，不同语言，不同文化的人组合在一起，从团队的组建，项目的选择，任务的分配，论文的撰写，到最后把所有工作组合到一起，完成项目并完成答辩，整个过程既有不同文化的相互激荡，项目管理的挑战，也能感受到互相鼓励，互相激励，受益良多。
I have to mention that the VTP project can be called the shiniest jewel in the crown. It puts us in a real business environment and cooperates on cross-border projects, combining people from different time zones, different languages, and different cultures. The building of the team, the selection of the project, the assignment of tasks, the writing of the paper, the final combination of all the work, and the completion of the project presentation fill the whole process with not only fusions of different cultures or a challenge of project management, but also mutual encouragement and great benefits.
当我们在明尼苏达的五月明媚阳光下，把硕士帽抛向天空的那一刻，既为两年的学习生活画上了圆满的句号，也为后EMBA时代的学习打开了冒号。
When we threw the master's hat to the sky under the bright sunshine of May in Minnesota, it not only brought a successful conclusion to the two-year study and life, but also brought us to the post-EMBA era.
毕业后，我们更加感受到整个CHEMBA大家庭的温暖。这是个目前有二十个班，3，4百人的大集体，有太多的牛人，能人和猛人！我们组织春茗，安排讲座，向老师请教，向同学学习。在课堂上，我们可以用SWOT讨论产品的定位；在舞台上，我们也可以打着油纸伞轻吟雨中的丁香；在考试中，我们可以用净现值推算公司的价值；在表演中，我们也可以放肆的走出六亲不认的步伐。“聚是一团火，散做满天星“，这就是我们CHEMBA16的写照，我们还是在路上，继续前行。
After graduation, we still feel the warmth of the entire CHEMBA family. This is a large group with 20 classes and more than 400 people. They are talented, capable, and energetic. We did a lot together like organizing spring tea seminars and arranging lectures. Through all the time we learned from teachers and each other. In the classroom, we can use SWOT to discuss how to position products. On the stage, we can also chant the cloves in the rain under the oiled paper umbrella. During the exams, we can use the net present value to calculate the value of the company. In the performance, we can also dance hilariously with free rein. "Gathering like fire, spreading like stars", this is the motto of our CHEMBA16. We are still on the way and expecting to go far.
