CHEMBA学习之前，我在外企（世界500强）从事营销管理工作20年。CHEMBA毕业后转行做律师，在广州执业，主要领域为民商事诉讼。
Before studying in CHEMBA, I have been engaged in marketing management for 20 years in foreign enterprises (Fortune Global 500). After graduation I turned into lawyer in Guangzhou, focusing on Civil and commercial litigation.
【学生感想】
首先，CHEMBA项目向我开启了一扇系统认识、学习社会科学的大门
我大学本科读的是工科，1994年毕业后作为管理培训生加入了宝洁公司，随后一直在外企从事销售和市场管理工作。工作20年后，我萌发了重新“回炉”校园、系统学习商科的想法，计划在自己的职业发展方面寻求新的突破。由于地域的原因，加上外企的工作背景，CHEMBA项目理所当然成为我的首选。事实证明，在CHEMBA项目中我不仅系统学习了现代商业知识，更为重要的是：在学习过程中我对金融学、经济学产生了浓厚的兴趣，进而带来我对相关社会科学，如法律的学习与思考，这些思考、推理以及社会科学的思维方式很大程度上帮助我通过了随后的国家司法考试。毫不夸张的说，CHEMBA项目向我开启了一扇系统认识、学习社会科学的大门。
其次，在CHEMBA学习，同学们都是志同道合的好朋友。
同学们大都来自国内外知名企业，也有自主创业的企业家。客观地讲，同学们都是带着自我提升的想法来学习CHEMBA的，纯英文的教学环境，也为项目设置了一定的门槛。因此，同学们能够求同存异，在学习过程中逐渐成为志同道合的好朋友。我们14班毕业后，形成了全班每年定期大聚会、同学间不定期小聚会的传统。难能可贵的是，同学们尽管有时一年才面对面聚会一次，但每次聚会回想起当年的上课、做小组作业、小组演讲、2016年在美国的毕业季，大家依然津津乐道、相亲如故，仿佛就是昨天的事情。
再次，CHEMBA的特色，如纯英语教学、欧洲游学、VTP、明尼苏达大学的毕业典礼，让项目极具全球视野。
办学20年，CHEMBA一如既往保持着其英语教学、全球视野的特色。放眼未来，CHEMBA项目将更加生机勃勃，一方面项目非常接地气，立足中国（粤港澳大湾区的蓬勃发展）；另一方面项目又面向世界，英语原版教学、欧洲游学、VTP、明尼苏达大学的毕业季这些传统优势培养学员们的全球视野。
最后，CHEMBA校友会组织各项活动让大家持续学习。
CHEMBA校友会现有500多位校友，是一个小而精的精英团体。校友会与时俱进，分享资源、组织多项活动，如热点话题、技术进步、经济形势、企业参观等。校友会组织的活动含金量都很高，让同学们即使毕业了都能够持续分享、学习、成长。
总之，CHEMBA学习是我人生最重要、最美好的经历之一。
时间过得真快，从2016年5月明大毕业典礼（我穿毕业袍、戴黄丝带）算起，已经整整过去了五年，我也从一名外企的职业经理人转型成专业人士（律师）。我需要感谢CHEMBA项目，正是因为在该项目的学习，让我认识到社会科学是如此的丰富多彩；欧洲的游学、美国的毕业季，让我直观认识到这个世界上的人可以有不同的生活方式、不同的价值观；我相信，我们因CHEMBA项目养成的持续学习的习惯，将会让我们受益终生。
First of all, CHEMBA gives me a way to systematically study social science.
I used to study engineering as an undergraduate. After graduating in 1994, I joined Procter & Gamble as a management trainee and worked in sales and market management in foreign companies ever since. After 20 years of work, I had this idea of getting back to campus and study business systematically, so that I will be able to have some breakthroughs in my future career.
Considering the region that I’m in and the fact that I’m working in a foreign company, there is no doubt that CHEMBA became my first choice. Facts have proved that in the CHEMBA project, I not only learned modern business knowledge systematically, but more importantly, I became interested in finance and economics during the learning process, which brought me to study and think about related social sciences. These thinking, reasoning and thinking modes of social sciences helped me pass the subsequent national judicial examination to a great extent. It is no exaggeration to say that the CHEMBA project has opened a door for me to systematically understand and study social science.
Secondly, studying in CHEMBA, all students have a common goal.
Most of the students came from well-known enterprises at home and abroad, and there were also entrepreneurs who have started their own businesses. Objectively speaking, students are learning CHEMBA with the idea of self-improvement. The English teaching environment also sets a certain threshold for the project. Therefore, students can seek common ground while reserving differences, and gradually become like-minded friends in the learning process. After graduating from Class 14, we have formed the tradition of regular gatherings of the whole class and irregular small gatherings among classmates. What is commendable is that although students sometimes merely meet face-to-face once a year, every time we meet, we recall our classes, group assignments, group speeches, and the graduation season in America in 2016, and we still talk about it with joy, as if it were yesterday.
Thirdly, the characteristics of CHEMBA, such as pure English teaching, the study tour in Europe, VTP, and the graduation ceremony of the University of Minnesota, all enabling the project to have a global perspective.
After operating for 20 years, CHEMBA has always maintained its characteristics of English teaching and global vision. Looking into the future, the CHEMBA project will be more vibrant. On the one hand, the project is close to life and based in China (the vigorous development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area). On the other hand, the project faces the world, and the traditional advantages of English original teaching, study tour in Europe, VTP and the graduation season of the University of Minnesota cultivate students' global vision.
Last but not least, CHEMBA alumni association organizes all kinds of activities for students to continue studying.
There are more than 500 alumni in the CHEMBA Alumni Association, which is a small and elite group. The alumni association keeps pace with the times, and never stop sharing resources and organizing many activities, such as hot topics, technological progress, economic situation, enterprise visits, etc. The activities organized by the alumni association are all rich in content, so that students can continue to share, learn and grow even after graduation.
All in all, studying in CHEMBA is one of the most important and pleasant moment in my whole life.
I often wonder how time flies. It has been five years since the graduation ceremony of Ming University in May 2016 (since I wore a graduation gown and yellow ribbon), and I have transformed from a professional manager of a foreign company to a professional, a lawyer. I must thank the CHEMBA project, my study in this project made me realize that social science is so colorful. The study tour in Europe and the graduation season in the United States have made me intuitively realize that people in this world can have different lifestyles and different values. I believe that the habit of continuous learning developed by CHEMBA program will benefit us for the rest of our lives.
