CHEMBA16班,现任珠海创机精密工业有限公司工程主管。领导珠海的项目管理部,研发部,模具部,从事内部制造的手工工具的设计及开发,主要品牌是米沃奇,全球领先的电动工具手动工具品牌。
坚持,融入,成功
在选择CHEMBA前,我咨询了一些朋友,也上网了解了国内的,中外合作的EMBA,同时试听了几家的课程。相对于其它的EMBA,CHEMBA教授的更专注,更专业,更具国际化的背景,纯英文教学,CHEMBA学生的素质素养更高能力更强。参加CHEMBA会对我个人能力及国际化视野会有很大的提升。
相信大多数经历CHEMBA学习的都有类似的感受 —— 作业特别多:课前作业、课中作业、课后作业,个人的、小组的;英文书籍跟砖头一样厚重;学习节奏特别快,一门课程还没有好好消化,下一门课程又来了。在CHEMBA学习期间,大家艰难地兼顾工作和学习。
我的学习体会是坚持,融入,成功。
尽管课程节奏快,作业多,工作忙。我还是坚持上完全部课程,按时完成全部作业。有次,我赶到酒店,已经接近晚上12点。为了不落下第二天早上要交的作业,我熬到凌晨3点。
由于要兼顾工作学习,大部分课程我都没有预习,只能充分利用课堂时间。120%地融入课堂学习,课堂学习的效率和效果会远远超过自学和预习。在课堂上,高度集中注意力,紧跟教授的授课,适当的笔记,跟教授积极互动,有助于加深理解及记忆。我为了保持100%的集中精力,不断喝非常浓的茶汁。
一有机会参加Pre-course,我就尽量参加,课上助教会帮助我们学生预热,比自己摸索要快要轻松。
在完成小组课堂作业时,我也积极融入,在自己熟悉的领域,我会主动做出更大的贡献,而在自己不熟悉的领域,我尊重更擅长的同学,当好配角,积极提问,维护好该同学的领导角色。在完成小组课后作业时,同学间分工合作,开会讨论,博采众长。
我长期在跨国公司工作,养成了良好的逻辑思考,水平思考习惯:表达观点时,我习惯于言简意赅,做到结构化、层次化、图解化;做分析时,我喜欢用矩阵表对比;在阅读大量参考资料后,我尽量用自己的语言和理解去表达,尽量有些创新。这些都有助于提高作业质量,取得较好的成绩。
通过坚持,融入,微创新,我成功完成学习目标。

Persist, Engage, Achieve
Before choosing CHEMBA, I consulted some friends, learned about domestic and sino-foreign EMBA programs on the Internet, and took several demo lessons offered by several institute. Compared with other EMBA programs, the professors of CHEMBA are more focused, more professional, and more of which are having international background. With pure English teaching, CHEMBA students are bound to have better quality and ability.
I believe that most CHEMBA students have made similar feelings: There were always mountains of assignments. The English textbooks were as thick as bricks. Moreover, the learning pace was so fast that we had to go on to another course when we hadn’t fully digested the former one. During the study at CHEMBA, it was difficult to balance work and study.
My learning inspiration is to persist, engage and achieve.
Since I had to balance work and study, I didn't preview for most courses, thus I had to make the most of my time in class, engaging myself 120% in classroom learning. The efficiency and effect of classroom learning would be far more than self-study and preview. In class, high concentration, following the professor closely, taking appropriate notes, and active interaction with the professor help deepen the understanding of what we learnt and strengthen our memory. I drunk strong tea continuously in order to maintain 100% concentration.
Once there was a chance to participate in the pre-course, I would try as much as possible to attend. The teaching assistant would help us to warm up in class, which is faster and easier than exploring by ourselves.
While finishing the group assignments in class, I also actively participated in it. In the domain I was familiar with, I would take the initiative to make greater contributions while in the domain I was not familiar with, I would respect my classmates who were better at it, playing a supporting role by actively asking questions and maintaining their leadership. While finishing the group assignments after class, we students cooperated with each other and held meetings to discuss and learn from others.
Working in a multinational enterprise for a long time, I have developed the good habits of logical and horizontal thinking. While expressing my views, I am accustomed to concise and comprehensive words, which are structured, hierarchical and illustrated. While doing analysis, I would like to use matrix tables for comparison. After reading a lot of reference materials, I tried my best to use my own language and understanding to express and be innovative. All of these are helpful to improve the quality of assignments and achieve better results.
Through persisting, engaging and micro-innovating, I successfully completed my learning goal.
